With more than 50 years of experience in residential design and drafting, I bring extensive knowledge, practical insight, and careful attention to every project. I help homeowners throughout North San Diego County turn ideas for their homes into clear, workable plans for the next stage of the process.

My experience spans a wide range of project types, including residential properties, medical spaces, small commercial projects, and multi-family developments. Today, my primary focus is residential design and drafting, with services for room additions, ADUs, garage conversions, home remodels, site plans, field measurements, and permit-ready construction documents.

I use current CAD systems to develop detailed production drawings and 3D renderings that help homeowners, contractors, and consultants understand the design clearly. ArchiCAD has been my primary design platform for the past 30 years, along with AutoCAD when appropriate for the project.

A typical project begins with an initial consultation and field measurements, followed by concept plans for review and refinement. Once the design is approved, I prepare the construction documents needed for permitting. I can also assist with permit submittal and help coordinate responses to plan check comments when needed.

Whether I’m working directly with a homeowner or coordinating with a general contractor, structural engineer, or other consultant, my goal is to make the design and permitting process as clear and straightforward as possible. Every project is approached with thoughtful design, clear communication, and attention to detail, helping you move forward with confidence from concept to construction.
