Bruce Duggan of Bruce Duggan Design was instrumental in the success of the addition we put on our house. He designed a 480 sq ft addition that was constructed at the end of our existing house. The addition comprises one full bathroom, one guest bedroom, and an art studio. He was recommended to us by our general contractor, who built the addition. The design process went smoothly, and we only went through a couple of iterations. Then Bruce assisted with the city building permit process, including submitting plans, following up on questions and progress, engineering subcontracting such as truss structures and energy efficiency regulations. He also assisted with unanticipated requirements from the city including hydrant flow test specifications. The resulting addition has been great. The highest compliment is that the addition looks naturally like it has always been part of the house, rather than an add-on. The whole process with Bruce went well: he responded well to phone, text, or email. We would recommend Bruce Duggan Design for reasonably priced professional service, and should the need arise, we will hire him again
